We have just returned from Valencia here at Santalucia Mobili, after taking part in Hábitat, the Spanish furniture, lighting and interior design trade show.

Now in its 56th year, this edition saw some 33 thousand visitors in attendance, up 25% on last year, as confirmation of its international appeal. We were there too, presenting our living room and bedroom collections, furniture and accessories, and all of the new products by Homy and Ikona, to an audience of professionals in the sector.

The new Ikona bedroom

The Dandy collection by Ikona has been extended to the bedroom too, furnishing spaces with framed doors, open units and a vast array of modular pieces, so you can create an original and highly personalised bedroom composition. The living room furniture has been reinterpreted and adapted to the bedroom space, combining wall-mounted and floor-standing base units with more traditional features such as bedside tables, which together create a new, creative bedroom design.

The power of colour

The doors and units are coloured to match the walls, playing with chromatic effects that are right on trend. From a soft, natural green to a bright, energising yellow, we took just some examples of Santalucia Mobili’s wide range of shades and finishes to Valencia, to show you how to personalise every aspect of your living space.

With a grey-blue backdrop and doors in the same colour, the accessorised wall space ties in with the bookcase: living room designs by Homy can be coordinated as well as colourful!

Organised spaces

Hábitat was a chance for us to present our design solutions for organising your bedroom with wardrobe units, open units and walk-in wardrobe compositions. You can create highly functional spaces with shelves, pull-out accessories and interior lighting to customise all of your storage needs.

After Hábitat, we have more new ideas up our sleeve here at Santalucia Mobili, so keep following us on our blog and on social media – watch this space!
