In our commitment to a sustainable future, we incorporate the UN 2030 Agenda goals within various departments of our company. Innovation and state-of-the-art technologies are the tools to make them more efficient and environmentally friendly.
Photovoltaic system
The project for implementing renewable energy sources has expanded in 2023 with the installation
of a photovoltaic system. The result is we have clean energy available that is capable of meeting the energy needs
of the entire production area at the factory in Via Sagree.
The stream of energy from the photovoltaic system can be monitored using an app,
which shows the amount of energy being produced and consumed in real time.
Maximising energy efficiency and minimising waste
LED lighting
This lighting system replaced neon lamps across
a surface area of some 40,000 m2, to ensure significant
reductions in CO2 emissions.
Liquid natural gas system
As an alternative to using sawdust-fired heaters,
the LNG system has eliminated the production of pollutants,
for near-zero environmental impact.
Offcuts from shredding of materials are used for a dedicated heating system at the Via Sagree site. Alternatively, panel processing waste is returned to the supplier to make new panels.
