The social responsibility of Santalucia Mobili extends from the company’s various departments to the local territory. We promote independent projects and actively participate in initiatives launched by businesses and social organisations, in support of culture, education and sports.

OUR BEEHIVES IN MORUZZO
In 2020, we took part in the “Adotta un alveare Bio” (Adopt an Organic Beehive) project for the first time.
The initiative is organised by the Iliria Group in partnership with the Friuli-based farming business Canais. Each adopted hive
has been given a name linked to Santalucia Mobili’s brands and products, and the company offers employees the opportunity
to visit the beehives and receive updates on their management. The adoption process is renewed each year and represents
our small contribution to bee conservation and in support of local beekeeping.

The company’s drinks vending machines are now stocked with bottles of WAMI (Water With a Mission), a B Corp-certified benefit corporation whose mission is to support clean water projects all over the world: every bottle of WAMI provides 100 litres of safe water.

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE ILLIRIA GROUP, THE COMPANY PARTICIPATES IN A SOCIAL
SCHEME COMMITTED TO THE DAY-TO-DAY COLLECTION OF COFFEE GROUNDS.
The coffee grounds collected then undergo a special process to extract essential oils
and nutritional substances. These extracts are used to produce sustainable materials and products, such as organic
plant fertilizer or materials for use in furniture production.

Our catalogues and price lists are certified as “Stampato con il sole” (printed using solar energy), i.e. using machinery powered by renewable energy sources. This choice demonstrates the brand’s desire to minimise its environmental impact.

Santalucia Mobili is Platinum sponsor of the men’s volleyball team Volley Prata.
This partnership between the company and sport highlights an active commitment
to social initiatives and local organisations. It also represents an exciting opportunity

IL PONTE FARM
Santalucia Mobili is engaged in supporting the remarkable work performed by the
Il Ponte organisation, a social farm in Ghirano di Prata whose activities aim to promote
farming activities and projects dedicated to people with disabilities.
