At Milan Design Week, we at Santalucia Mobili presented our new products for 2023. The setting was our showroom located along the Darsena in Milan’s Navigli district. This will be the year of the living room for Santalucia Mobili: we’ve added new furniture pieces and even a new product category. Read on for more details.

Evan modular sofa

New sofas now complete Santalucia Mobili’s functional, comfort-centred living room designs, offering unique style. Their ultra-modular build means you can adapt your sofa to the space, both in terms of its size and the layout. Plus you can personalise the look thanks to a wide choice of upholstery. And that’s not all…

Evan is more than just a sofa. It’s part of a whole range of Santalucia Mobili furniture designed to be arranged together. For example, chunky panels and shelving can be used to create a desk on the side of the chaise-longue sofa design. This provides a practical spot for work and study, without taking up precious wall space.

A double-sided bookcase can also be added alongside the sofa. This reduces the seating space but adds another piece of furniture to the living room, lightening the look of the composition, especially in more compact spaces.

The Evan modular sofa has multiple purposes, all in a single piece of furniture. And it optimises the available space. It has been designed to break up open-plan rooms, allow you to put a sofa in a passageway or add an extra piece of furniture to carry through the same look and feel.

Double-sided Bend bookcase

Another idea for furnishing open-plan rooms, dividing up the space without closing off certain areas entirely, is the double-sided Bend bookcase. The frame, side panels and back panels can be customised to create combinations you can admire from both sides.

Scacco Living units

Following its success as a bedroom collection, the Scacco range is now also available as a living room product. Combine panels in different finishes with base units and other features such as glass shelves and magazine racks to create your own customised configurations.

The Green modules on top of the wall units are another new feature. They are metal trays designed to hold plants, making the most of the unit height to add a green touch to the living room, as the name suggests.

By adding a shelf, the Scacco panels can also be used to finish a sofa back, adding more style and function to the living room.

Urban units

Urban is another new design by Santalucia Mobili. This system of metal uprights, fixed to the floor and wall or the floor and ceiling, is designed to hold storage units, shelves or other accessories, which can all be positioned as preferred. It can even hold a TV stand to create a real feature wall.

Tulipa and Anthemis sideboards

The curved shape of the Tulipa sideboard, enhanced by the 3D finish on the doors and marble-effect top, make for an original, versatile piece.

Conversely, the Anthemis sideboard stands out for its square finish and geometric stand, transforming a simple support into part of the design. When paired with the new Akka shelves, this sideboard is perfect for adding personality to an entrance space.
