2024 Sustainability Report now online
At Santalucia Mobili, we remain committed to a more sustainable future. We’ve recently published our Sustainability Report for 2024, which represents the next stage on a journey that began in 2020 with the TO DO FUTURE project.
In 2024, we took concrete action to promote the wellbeing of our people in particular. This included:
- running an in-house survey to garner employees’ opinions, perceptions and needs, which resulted in a project in 2025 involving a new canteen service for staff at both company sites;
- taking out an insurance policy to support employees and their families in the event of serious illness;
- taking part in free health initiatives in partnership with Welfare Care;
- creating an internal support service to strengthen corporate dialogue.
In 2023, we established the “Sustainability Ambassadors” working group, which brought together employees from different company divisions. After taking part in training in-house in 2024, these key figures launched a programme of activities aimed at spreading sustainability culture at all levels of the organisation, promoting behaviours and choices in line with our values around taking responsibility, being aware and getting involved.
We also strengthened local ties, supporting youth sports teams and other cultural initiatives.
As of March 2025, we’re officially a Benefit Company, too. Achieving this milestone – which aptly coincides with our 60th anniversary – demonstrates a willingness to incorporate goals targeting the common good into our Articles of Association, turning sustainability into a structural, measurable part of our business.
Looking ahead, the main goal is to align our social and environmental efforts with our economic targets, providing continuity and coherence in an undertaking that goes beyond the project level – it’s about what it means to be a business.
