Design Store Milano on its first anniversary

Time to celebrate! The Design Store was opened one year ago and to mark the occasion it is making its first appearance at the FuoriSalone.

During the last edition of the Salone del Mobile, Santalucia Mobili’s Design Store was opened in Milan’s City Life district.

This past year has been full of new ideas, new challenges and new collections. For the Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2019, an event which brings together designers, experts and furniture lovers from around the world every year, the Design Store will be unveiling Santalucia Mobili’s innovative new compositions and creations to the public. What’s more, Santalucia Mobili will be taking part in the FuoriSalone fringe events programme for the very first time. The Design Store Milano has been included in Interni’s official guide, which covers all of the key events and initiatives running throughout the Design Week.

Always leading the way when it comes to the trends of the moment, the Design Store will be flaunting a revamped look and the Dandy and Innova collections by brand Ikona will be on display, along with a series of new products for the living room and bedroom spaces. In addition, a preview of a special new sliding wardrobe mechanism will be presented, as created and produced in collaboration with Hettich, a leading German furniture components and hardware company.

For the FuoriSalone event, the Design Store will also be launching a design contest, “DESIGN IS”: an initiative encouraging visitors to express their opinion on what design means for them. Visitors will be invited to fill in the DESIGN IS coloured cards distributed around the display space. At the end of the Design Week, the most creative and compelling phrase will be chosen for Santalucia Mobili’s communications campaign.
